This policy explains what information robotwaragi.com collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, which is operated by Robot Industries Limited (Plot 3116, Ngobe B, Bunamwaya, Wakiso, Uganda; P.O. Box 210, Wakiso, Uganda).
What we collect
Account details. If you create an account we collect your name, email address, Ugandan mobile number, date of birth and a password (stored only as a secure hash). Your date of birth and mobile number are required because Robot is an alcoholic product sold only to adults. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and the email address on that Google account.
Your orders and cart. When ordering opens, order details and delivery information will be processed to fulfil your purchase. Until then, your cart is stored only in your own browser and never leaves your device.
Cookies and similar technology. This site uses only the cookies it needs to work: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and a cookie that remembers your answer to the 18+ age confirmation. We do not use advertising cookies. The embedded map on our location page is served by OpenStreetMap without cookies.
Server logs. Like most websites, our servers keep brief technical logs (such as the time of a request and an error code) to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it
We use your information to verify you are 18 or older, to operate your account, to process orders and payments when ordering opens, to respond to your questions, and to meet our legal obligations as a producer of alcoholic beverages. If you opt in, we will also send you occasional Robot news — you can opt out at any time.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We do not collect more than this policy describes.
Keeping it safe
Account passwords are hashed, sessions are protected, and access to personal data is limited to the people who need it to run the business. No system is perfect; if a data incident ever affects you, we will tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete your account. Write to us or call +256 704 903 104 (see Contact us). Deleting your account does not erase records we must keep for tax or other legal reasons.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date below. Changes that matter to you will be flagged on the website.
